About Me
I am a Queer, first-generation Mexican American woman.
I am "breaking into tech" because, in addition to closing the gender gap, I would like to see more Latinx and queer representation in the industry.
Learning energizes me.
After spending the last ten years working in food, retail, and general office jobs, I knew I wanted a more fulfilling career, full of challenges and growth. In the fall of 2021, I was accepted into Code the Dream School. I began learning to code in January 2022. Thanks to Code the Dream, I have been able to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
